History & Communications

History

The pump stores history in 2 ways:

• by the delivery date; the pump stores delivery infor-

mation for the previous 90 days

• as events; the pump stores information for the previ-

ous 2000 events.

History can be viewed directly on the pump screen, as

well as using My Treatment Assistant

™

PC Communica-

tions System.

You can program the pump so that individual history

reports are not displayed (although the pump continues

to keep track of this information), or can be viewed in

History in the main menu. Note that if you have chosen

not to display any of the history reports, History will

not appear in the main menu.

Most history can be viewed in 2 ways;

1. As the actual events. The pump stores the information

for the previous 90 days. You can scroll through these

daily history reports using the

and

keys in His-

tory.

2. As an Average. In this method, the pump reviews the

daily total for a number of days (you specify 2 to 30

days), and calculates an average.

The available history reports are:

Delivery Summary & Average Delivery Summary:

this is a daily breakdown of insulin delivery, and in-

cludes the daily total, meal bolus, carbs (if in use),

correction bolus, and basal amounts. The average looks

at these totals over a number of days (2 to 30), and

calculates an average.

Basal as Percent of TDD (Total Daily Dose) &

Average Basal as Percent of TDD: this shows what

percent of the total amount of insulin delivered each

day is basal insulin. The average looks at this percentage

over a number of days (2 to 30), and calculates an

average.

Bolus History: this shows the date, time and amount,

both meal and correction, of all boluses currently

contained in the “Complete History” report.

Complete History: this includes delivery totals, alerts,

errors, battery changes, cartridge changes, changes to

the pump program, etc. Each “event” in the complete

history report includes the date and time of it’s occur-

rence. It includes the last 2000 events.
